We make these every year and they are one of the simplest decorations to make. You can hang them on the tree, add as a decorative gift tag or string together to make a garland. For a few pounds you could do them all!
You’ll need:
air drying clay – we used DAS
cookie cutters and rolling pin
string to hang
beads are optional!
- Roll out the clay to your required thickness and cut out the shapes.
2. Gently ease them out of the cutter shape
3. Add a hole to allow for the string.
4. Leave to dry. Add bead and string!
And that’s it – you’re ready to hang or wrap! I’m going to pop on a few more ideas here for simple Christmas decor but if you aren’t thinking about making this year, my littlest is doing a pop up shop on Instagram selling lots of little homemade crafts. Come check her out and shop small this Christmas!
