I can’t quite believe it’s the end of July…I hadn’t intended to take a month’s sabbatical from the blog but it ended up that way and I have enjoyed the break! July has been great; holidays (I’ve some lovely French photos for you soon!), books and time about the house…it has been the perfect way for me to feel rested.
I have a lovely little project in the pipeline currently and as I was working on it yesterday, it evolved into some flower play with my Annabelle. We laid out and played with the beautiful hydrangea heads and petals that our neighbour had let us cut and took lots of photos…and then some more! I have a bit of a thing for hydrangeas and realised I had formed another wreath like the one I did last Autumn (which still rests in our bathroom) I loved ‘working’ alongside my wee Annie and listening to her suggestions as she laid the petals out. A little stylist in the making, as someone on Instagram said – she’s a keeper!
Joining in with the lovely Apartment Apothecary and Lotts and Lots for their Styling the Seasons posts. Hoping your August is great!
