Easter, over the last couple of years, has meant a road trip to my sister in Cork. They have a farm and keep chickens, lambs and pigs throughout the year. This year they had just moved into their new house and our girls couldn’t wait to make the trip.
It was a simple trip and involved copious amounts of coffee. Kids running through the fields, planting seeds, feeding the lambs and playing about the house. An egg hunt in the lashing rain. A trip into Cork to see the goodies in their shop. Nothing too prepared but just perfect.
Relaxing and restoring…conversation and giggles.
The perfect kind of break.
