There is an arm currently sitting in my repair pile…and it has been there for a while. For this little bunny is trailed along behind our wee Maddie. Carried, hugged, wrestled and swung. Wholly and completely loved.
And armless as a result.
For the first time last night, she left it at her Gran’s. And she coped. There were a few tears but she understood the wait. And it made me a little sad. For she’s not so little.
I love seeing the little bond that has grown between our littlest and a soft, fluffy rabbit. There’s something so completely adorable and ‘bunny’ ranks high in our family’s pecking order!
And so, I hope she hugs this wee bunny for years to come…a little part of childhood that I hope will leave a wee imprint on her heart.

We have the same bunny in this house – a firm 4th member of the crew! It's sweet – the attachment! X
