Since our girls were born my father in law has written them letters. Envelopes that have dropped through the door unexpectedly and caused such excitement.
Stories and pictures.
Clippings from newspapers.
Memories from days out.
Annabelle has of recent started to write back. I have loved encouraging this…that in the fast moving pace of our lives she takes a moment to write, envelope and post her letter. She asks for days to phone him to see if it has arrived.
When I saw this envelope template from Papermash I thought she would love it. It is so easy and she has now made many over and over again…they are so pretty.
Once you have your paper all you need to do is draw around the template, following the instructions. Use a pencil…I used a pen so the lines could be seen clearly but pencil lines can obviously be rubbed out after the envelope has been folded.
Then go make a pretty address label and glue it on.
Stick on your stamp and enjoy the excited walk to the postbox…you’ll make someone’s day!
