This is an idea stolen from a good friend who has the best eye for pattern and colour. I had lots of scraps of fabric left over from different little projects which I thought would make a great bunting.
// Cut out triangles of fabric…I used bondaweb to back them onto plain fabric to give them a little extra strength when hanging.
// I used this lace I had bought at a craft fair which I thought would make a change from ribbon or bias binding.
// Lay the triangles out and try out a few different orders until you find a combination you like. I piled them in order at the side of my machine so it was just a matter of lifting them as you sewed.
// Lay the lace on top of the triangles and sew along, laying the next one as you go.
// Knot the ties at the end and you’re done.
// You should end up with a garland ready to hang.
To see who I’m linking up with head here!
