This is by far the easiest sewing my girls have done and the project so far that has brought them the greatest pleasure…they have not put their bags down since they made them! I love, love, love it.
Annie and I started off one afternoon and by the time she was done Abi and a few of their friends had gathered and put in their orders. The trickiest part was attaching the strap which needed a lot of adult guidance. They also thought the navy webbing I had was a bit dull so before we started I quickly sewed a piece of bias binding down the centre (as below)…kids could do this themselves if you have a bit more time!
