The brighter mornings bring about a change for me. The light creeping up, sky turning pinks, purples, oranges, reds.
I feel a bit more inspired, a bit more motivated.
I have always wanted to be a runner, have loved the idea of pounding the streets. But it’s definitely a fair weather thing for meā¦from March until September I tend to get up and run before the rest of the house rises for the day. I hibernate the rest of the year.
Once done, I get my water and sit on the back steps in our garden…
Listen to the birds.
Take in the colours of the sky.
It fills me for the day, sets the tone; a little time to think and pray or to just gather myself, to reflect and renew.
To get a little energy so I’ve more to give.
Pour in so I can pour out.

I love it for the same reasons. I haven't done it in so long. This makes me want to run again. Beautiful pic btw:)

I know…you're always glad you've done it but getting out the door can be the hard part!!!
