To be honest…this week as well as much of this month has gone past in a blur. June is just so busy with end of term activities and jobs to be done as the holidays draw near. My hubby and I are both teachers so the summer is quite sacred and we spend a lot of time enjoying space as a family.
I love Instagram…it makes me stop and see the little things that are worth being mindful of. I love the set up of photos and centring the little things that would often go unnoticed. Here are a few of the little things I noticed this week:
that handpicked flowers added the main decoration to Maddie’s birthday party table
these little seeds that hung from abundance in the trees at our park
the petals of the peonies as they fell…still trying to stick to my mantra
Ok, so it might have be all about the flowers this week but isn’t always!!
*We’re heading camping so these easy campfire cones might just be a runner at some point over the next few weeks!
*Mel and Victoria are doing an ethical fashion collective (#ethicalfashioncollective) on the first Friday of every month…check out their posts and try to tear yourself away from the link on Mel’s site to The Basket Room!!
*I also got a wee bundle of Organic Surge goodies through joining in with a hashtag (#nestandflourish) through @xxbirdhouse and @live_and_bloom. They are so gorgeous and I can’t wait to try them out. You probably know how I love essential oils so if you’re the same check out their website for their 100% natural products.
I’m off to France on Sunday. Keep in touch with me on Instagram…such a great wee community of folk there. I’ll be dipping in and out of the blog over the next few weeks but in the meantime I hope you have a great July!
